The Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) Conference is a 3-day leadership training opportunity for young men and women throughout northeastern Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan who are sophomores and juniors in high school. Leadership skills, concepts, and metaphors are explored through participatory outdoor-based activities that include trust building exercises, problem solving initiatives, and low and high challenge course experiences. The RYLA Conference is facilitated by Rotary District 6220 and takes place each May at Camp Manito-wish YMCA in Boulder Junction, Wisconsin.

Strong leaders are made, not born. Leadership principles are learned, not inherited. Young people, the leaders of tomorrow, deserve the opportunity to be exposed to many facets of leadership. The RYLA Conference provides an enjoyable and valuable experience for those who choose to meet the challenge. Learn more.
